The topics discussed at the 2017 International Workshop of Transcultural Studies include: 1. The special features o Chinse social production. 2. Material capital and nonmaterial capital. 3. The cultural transfer. 4. The consciousness of self-awareness. 5. Resisting the interpretation. 6. The research space between material and spirit. 7. Urbanization.
Compared with the previous two international workshops, the 2017 International Workshop of Transcultural Studies has three extra topics: the transcultural society, the transcultural Russia and East European countries and Chinese technology history of natural sciences. The 17 professors home and abroad talk about their research achievements in the past decades and combine the authoritative lectures with dialogues between the east and the west, to make the students further understand the theory and practice and train the graduate students who have certain knowledge about their specific major to communicate with first-class international scholars to gain special transcultural spiritual treasure.
